"Maybe getting back to my regular life will humble me
I'll be back 2018 to give you the summary
More Life"
It's 2018, and Drake is already dominating the charts with back-to-back #1 singles in "God's Plan" and "Nice for What." But as promised, Drake will drop his next project in June 2018, he announced via a post on his Instagram.
The album is expected to be called Scorpion, and will likely take the summer by storm with its June 2018 release window. Personally, I was hoping the album would be called "The Summary." It would have been a little corny, but hey, it's Drake.
Scorpion will be Drake's 5th studio album, after Thank Me Later (June 2010), Take Care (November 2011), Nothing Was The Same (September 2013) and Views (April 2016).
You could also consider it the Toronto rapper's 8th solo project, counting So Far Gone (February 2009), If You're Reading This It's Too Late (February 2015) and More Life (April 2017). Furthermore, it would be his 9th overall release including the collaborative release with Future, What a Time To Be Alive (September 2015).
Scorpion will likely feature his latest smash single "Nice For What" but it's unclear if the two songs from Scary Hours, including "God's Plan," will be on the tracklist.
